This excellent 1965 album from the multi-instrumentalist Yusef Lateef runs the gamut musically, from the Coltrane influenced Semi-Octo to soulful reads of standards from Hammerstein/Kern, Fats Waller and Erik Satie, and a beautifully rendered original Bamboo Flute Blues.

Verve By Request Series features 180-gram vinyl, pressed at Third Man in Detroit.
