Wandering Bird, the triumphant new side-project uniting Nakkabre (Conifre, Vespral) with the full ferocious lineup of Verglas delivering a soaring, majestic blast of melodic black metal infused with raw Oi! stomp and punkish rustic fury! Promo MMXXV is pure uplifting rebellion: infectious, heart-piercing riffs that dig deep into your soul, galloping rhythms, and anthemic melodies that evoke the free-spirited Wandervogel youth marching against the bourgeois decay of modernity. Walking prideful and stormbound through naturalist utopias, beheading industrialization with songs of linden trees, guillotines, and new dawns this is optimistic, saccharine triumphalism forged in black/punk fire! These riffs will carry you to the mountains and trees, awakening the mockingbird’s resistance to the modern plague. A stunning debut promo that blends Verglas’ acrid stomp with soaring melodic glory of Vespral essential for devotees of Qubec’s raw underground majesty!
