Originally imagined as the groups fifth album of 2017,Changeshas ended up the fifth albumKing Gizzard & The Lizard Wizardwill release in 2022. Good things come to those who wait, and the magnificentChangesis worth every one of the 2,628,000 minutes King Gizzard invested in it. Soaked in warm sonics of 70s R&B and guided by simple chord changes that contain multitudes, and rounding out another remarkable year for the group,Changesis a luminous, soft pop marvel. Come lose yourself in its slow-cooked brilliance. This LP is pressed on 180-gram recycled black wax housed in an outer card jacket in place of shrink wrap.
