This is a new vinyl record of the album Alibi by Emma Volard. The album was first released in 2024 and we have pressing from that year. It was limited to only 200 copies in heavyweight clear red vinyl, with an individually-numbered obi strip. Emma Volard\’s sophomore album is a deeply personal search for place and meaning – Gravely real and at times confronting, it debates the wholly complex and resilient growth of finding oneself and grieving the life I once thought I needed, describes Volard. That\’s what this album was made for; connection, expression and restoration.Alibi represents years spent honing a signature sound that encapsulates Naarm/Melbournes experimental neo-soul and jazz scene.
