The Bottle Rockets rank right up there with Uncle Tupelo in the annals of the alt-country movement; in fact, main songwriter Brian Henneman worked with Uncle Tupelo as a guitar tech and occasional contributor before forming the band. Now, with the full cooperation of the Bottle Rockets, Real Gone Music is reissuing their early records, starting with their classic self-titled debut record, making its vinyl debut on maroon wax for its 30th anniversary. Mastered for vinyl and lacquers cut by original Bottle Rockets mastering engineer Scott Hull.
