Nate Heller (‘A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood’, ‘Diary of a Teenage Girl’, ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’) has crafted a beautiful, bouncy and haunted score for the complicated life of a stay at home mother. Choruses and strings swell in periods of bliss, and droning synths drown the air in periods of darkness – this dichotomy is present in the story of a woman who’s evolving while feeling stuck at the same time.
