Out of the Dark is the first release by vibist Jon Metzger, recorded in 1986 in Washington DC. This album features five Metzger originals and two songs from Fred Hersch. The material is challenging and a bit unpredictable yet swinging in its own fashion. Enjoy a unique blend of pop and jazz that showcases the talents of Metzger and his accompanying musicians.
