Makcim & Levi are here with their first full-length album, di. Farewell, from here. The two grand inquisitors of minimal have found their parting ground. A first and a last. Their debut long player is also the first release on their new label ml rec. It slides through the deeper sections of dancefloor groove, passing around joyful swing like sweets. Encrypted messages from Russian satellites. Sizzling hats and crushed videogames jittering around. And yet, bellowing from the balcony, new ideas, beats and cutting edge sound design that show a side of Makcim & Levi we havent seen untll now. If this was the end, then what has just started?
