Mardi Gras is a complicated farewell, recorded amid open fractures in the band as Tom and Stu insisted on equal songwriting and lead vocal duties, pulling John Fogerty toward the exit door. That tension is baked into the grooves, making it a document of a great band coming apart in real time, which gives even its rougher moments a certain weight for anyone who loves what CCR built between 1968 and 1972.

The final studio album from America’s greatest rock n roll band; first released in 1972. Highlights include a cover of Hello Mary Lou, as well as the Fogerty-penned rocker Sweet Hitch-Hikera Top Ten hit in the US, Australia, Canada, and across Europe. The poignant Someday Never Comes” marked the groups final single. Now available on color vinyl.
